Hi,
Recently our lab updated two old Windows 98 machines to Windows XP SP2. Now, all of our programs that use the SR Box do not want to start due to a "Invalid Windows Version" error that points to a problem with a SR Box open properties line. Also, all of our programs that output sound freeze up right as the sound is supposed to come out. I checked and found that no drivers were installed, so I got the SR Box driver. Our other XP machine that has the programs working also has an I/O Device Driver, but I have no idea where to find this driver. Has anyone dealt with this issue before? Thanks a lot for any feedback.

Because of components used in Windows 9x that are not compatible with XP, you must first uninstall E-Prime 1.x and then reinstall it on a Windows XP installation.

KB1266 - INFO: Read this before upgrading a machine to Windows 2000/XP with E-Prime.
