Is there a way to export .edat2 data to excel and/or SPSS? I have saved the data on an external drive and I am trying to open the file on a computer that does not have E-Prime software. Is this possible to do?

Thanks,
SG

While you cannot open .edat2 files with excel or SPSS directly, you can export the files to either Excel or SPSS using E-Data Aid. However, if you are in a situation where you do not have access to E-Data Aid and still need to access your data files, you still have options. Along with every .edat2 file created there is a .txt file with the same name as the .edat2 file. This is a tab delimited text file that contains the same data the .edat2 file, just in a less aesthetically pleasing format. I know excel allows you to open these .txt files and view your data, I have not tried with SPSS. I hope this information helps!
