I have E-Prime 1 files that I would like to run using E-Prime 2, but I can't find a way to open them in E-Prime 2, let alone convert them. Is there another program I need to use to convert the files? I've searched around but all I've found is verification that it is possible to upgrade E-Prime 1 files to run in E-Prime 2 while preserving a copy of the original files, but I can't find any instructions on how to do this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

When in E-Prime 2.0, select File>Open. Using the drop down below where the filename of a selected file is, please change it from "E-Studio 2.0 Files (*.es2)" to "E-Studio Files 1.x (*.es)" or "All Files (*.*)". Browse to the .es file and select it to open. You will then be prompted with a dialog confirming that you are about to upgrade the .es file to an .es2 file.

Let me know if you need any additional help.
