I'm going to conduct an fmri experiment by using e-prime. I will present stimuli and record subjects responses by my laptop connected with the scanner. My problem is how to receive the trigger from the scanner on my laptop. I found a script useful to receive the trigger on a computer connecting the trigger on a serial port (for istance, COM1 port). However, on my laptot (as well as in each laptop) there isn't a serial port. Anyway I can connect the trigger to my laptob by using a usb port. Could anyone provide me a script useful to receive the trigger by a usb port?
