I am using the latest version of E-Studio 2.0.8.74 to design an experiment. If I create a Slide and enter a large amount of text (e.g., about 5 sentences) the program crashes. No error message is provided, just: "E-Studio Experiment Design Environment has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." Furthermore, when trying to save the e-studio file after entering a sentence into a slide the changes are not saved. We get the same error using e-prime on two different computers (both with a separate license) running Windows XP.
Other related forums reporting frequent crashes suggested that anti-virus software may cause a conflict. However, after disabling our anti-virus software (Symantec) we still encounter the same frequent crashes.
Has anyone else experienced this problem and, if so, how did your resolve it?
Many thanks.

Also experiencing persistent crashes when I try to use textboxes in slides.
It does seem to be specific to a set of slides I'm creating at the start of a Session Procedure.
Using 2.0.8.74 on Windows XP.
Found this topic regarding crashes from missing printer http://support.pstnet.com/forum/Topic1893-12-1.aspx?Highlight=text+crash in the Beta/Release Candidate forum, but printer is networked and prints fine.
Any help would be appreciated.
