Hi,
I have problems to import a text file which has been exported from an E-Data-Aid file into SPSS. Could the reason be that I am using E-Prime 1.1 and SPSS 17 and that the two programs don't match?

Many thanks!
Lena

Hi Topolina,

I don't have e-prime 1.1 to my disposal... so can't tell you whether it works for me, but it seems not so likely that they are imcompatible, after all there isn't all that much special to a .txt file. Although...

*did you not forget to untick the unicode box in the export menu in e-data aid ?
* ever since we upgrade to this PASW (is that spss 17 or 18?) some of my spss datafiles can't be opened from for instance my portable harddrive but work fine once copied to the desktop (error says something about locale).

That's my two cents.

Hope it is of some help to you.

Best,

liw
