Hello,

I have worked with Eprime on my laptop for about 7 months now, and I have never really had a problem. Today--multiple times-- I was working through an experiment, and Eprime crashed on me. I received the following error:

RUN TIME ERROR
Internal Error while trying to communicate with Port I/O device driver

Error 0x0000045d
Byte Mismatch Error

Line 591
Error 10056

I was wondering if this has to do with the input device that we use to input answers while our subjects are in the MRI? What would cause this error to start to occur. It has never arisen before. Should I try replacing the current input device driver?

Thanks,

Hello,

I encountered the same error messager as I was running my experiment.
When the E-Prime tried to send a pulse via the parallel port,
the trial was occasionally interupted by the error 10056 stating that there's
something wrong in communicating with the port device.

Does anyone know about how to solve this problem?

I'm grateful to any suggestion.
