| As a first-time user, I have e-prime v1 for parallels on my mac, and am putting a simple experiment together. Will anything I write using this version on my mac be compatible with e-prime 1 and 2 on Windows PCs?

i've been having some problems running E-Prime in WinXP under Parallels on my macbook pro - something to do with the display not being identified properly.
e-prime used to work on this same machine with windows installed - not sure why it's not now, but, when i run any e-prime script i'm getting errors like:
Run-time Error (Line 964) -999: Application-defined or object-defined error
which i assume is related to:

Err.Raise -999, "Unable to obtain a valid refresh rate.Please ensure your display adapter is configured with the most recent and device specific driver.(Standard Display Adapter under Windows Vista is not compatible)"

so how to get scripts to run on my laptop?
i've tried editing the experiment properties to the resolution of the screen, or setting display properties to inherit from the screen.. neither resolves the issue.

Hi,
I am working with E-Prime under the MacBook Pro (Bootcamp XP).
But, I have problem to install E-Prime.
It seems the XP can't recognize the pathway where the "E-Prime 2.0.msi" file is?
Is there any solution to install E-Prime?
Please reply me, thanks a lot!!

| For folk wanting to run EP2 under vmware, just downgrade to version...22 (I think now it's up to version....79). Version 22 run just fine. Of course, I assume you're not actually collecting data this way! I don't know why that added that refresh thing to v...73 or whichever it was. I asked them to remove it or make it an option and got nowhere.
