I have been unable to install e-prime 1.1 on my new computer which is running a 64-bit version of windows. I can install the evaluation version of the software so I know the problem is specific to the USB key device. I have downloaded a new HASP4 driver from Aladdin to try to get this working, and the driver is apparently compatible with 64-bit versions of Windows but this hasn't solved the problem.

Are there known compatibility issues for eprime 1.1 and 64-bit operating systems? Are there any solutions?

Thanks for any help

Although the HASP hardware key driver is compatible with 64-bit E-Prime 1.1 uses an older method which does not translate with the newer driver.  I would recommend using the most recent version of E-Prime 1.2.1.847 available in EP web support, but to also download/install http://www.pstnet.com/downloads/misc/HASPUserSetup.exe first.

Please note that SRBOX and PORT communications are not supported under 64-bit Windows at this time.

Hi there...

I'm running a Windows 7 Vaio laptop, 64-bit. I can't manage to install E-Prime 1.2.1.847 on it, and I've tried HaspUserSetup and HaspUserInstall. When the installation gets to the part where it should be installing Hasp drivers, it chokes every time. The same exact problem is occurring on an HP desktop (also Win7, 64-bit). Any workarounds for this?

Thanks for your time...
