Hello!

We are trying to program an interface for some hardware and would like to communicate with a server application over TCP/IP. I found the SocketDevice feature in the Knowledge base (http://pstnet.com/e%2Dprime/support/kb.asp?TopicID=2528). As we would like to test our scipts without having the real server application, it would be great to have E-Prime "faking" this server. Is there any command for doing this in E-Basic?

Thank you!

Thomas

At this time E-Prime can only act as a TCP/IP client.  The suggestion to permit E-Prime to act as a server/listener is under advisement.
