Greetings. I'm trying to set up a Cedrus response box which allegedly is able to simulate a PST Response Box. E-Prime recognizes it and I have correctly installed the driver for the response box. I have configured the response options for the box and so on. When I try to run the experiment, E-Prime reports: Unable to erase previous contents!

Does anyone know what the problem here is and how it can be resolved? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This error will occur if you do not have read/write access to the folder in which the experiment resides.  When E-Studio generates the .es of .ebs file it first truncates the file to zero.  If it fails to do this, then the error you mentioned above will occur.
