E-Prime 2.0 installation upgrades previous versions
The E-Prime 2.0 installation has been updated to automatically remove previous Release Candidate versions via prompt.  Due to some complexities with different configurations, some errors may occur during the removal or upgrade.  In this case, manually remove via the Add/Remove control panel applet.  If you wish to assist PST with debugging prior to uninstalling manually, please see KB3558 - FEATURE: E-Prime 2.0 Installation prompts to uninstall RC 2007 versions  End users whom have the E-Prime 2.0 BETA will be required to manually remove via the Add/Remove control panel applet.

E-Prime 2.0 Professional introduces PackageFile Editor
The ability to create custom routines for your lab to share or with other end users is possible via .epk2 files in E-Studio that merge the script and routines from user PackageFiles into your experiment.  To get started with PackageFile, please see the NewFeaturesGuide installed with E-Prime and as a beginning sample, see Sample: User-Created Package Files

E-Prime 2.0 Professional supports quiet installation and customized deployment options
IT staff and network administrators have the ability to use msiexec /qn or /qb installation switches to install E-Prime 2.0 quietly.   E-Prime 2.0 Professional offers the ability to provide a completely silent installation including automatic silent registration and quiet dismissal of copy samples and welcome prompts upon first load.  For more information please see KB3564 - FEATURE: E-Prime 2.0 Professional Installation updated to support MSIEXEC /qn and /qb slient installation options and KB3563 - FEATURE: E-Prime 2.0 Professional supports extended configuration options through E-Prime 2.0.ini file.

Other Highlights
All of the E-Prime applications use a conversion from .hlp to .chm HTML help file which is not compatible with Windows XP and Vista.  Additional updates to these help files are outstanding.
E-Merge uses .emrg2 file extension and E-DataAid uses .edat2 file extension.
Grace period reintroduced for E-Studio to permit temporary access to E-Studio when forgetting hardware key or license at home/office.
Property Tooltips added to Structure view in E-Prime 2.0 Professional
BorderWidth, Stretch, MirrorUpDown, MirrorLeftRight, Volume, BackColor, BackStyle, OnsetSync, OffsetSync corrections in E-Studio to properly generate experiment.

Going back to RC 2007
If you find that you are in need of going back to a Release Candidate version from 2007 and have installed the latest HASP driver by installing E-Prime 2.0.8.x or downloading and installing http://www.pstnet.com/downloads/HaspUserSetup.exe, you may get an error when installing an E-Prime version prior to 2008.  This is due to a bug in the installer for the HASP driver.  To correct this error renaming C:\Program Files\Common Files\Aladdin Shared temporarily will get around the error.  For more information please see KB3612 - INFO: haspds_msi.dll error when installing a version of E-Prime 2.0 prior to 2008
